What is endodontics?
Endodontics is the solution to a very common problem: plaque and bacteria that accumulate on our teeth demineralize them. This can be due to cavities, and sometimes due to genetic causes, the enamel wears down and can affect the dental pulp.
It is a conservative treatment that involves removing the infection that is present in the dental pulp, and once it's removed, the pulp cavity is sealed.
How to tell if I need endodontic treatment?
If you have chipped or broken a tooth, experience discomfort while chewing, have sensitivity to hot and cold foods, dental sensitivity, or bad breath, you may need endodontic treatment.
